A brilliant stay. It’s a huge home with loads of 1930s character, and an interesting history as a professor’s library (I think?). Quirky rooms and corners to explore.

Had a slightly Enid Blyton feel, as if we’d stopped off for a rest in between adventures!

There were 9 of us inc kids and there’s lots of jigsaws and family games for all to play stowed around the place. Very large garden space to play in with summer sofas.
Everything very clean and tidy. Quiet location. Great pool table!
There were a couple of small issues with missing cutlery and a dodgy door but Ruth was super fast to sort everything out - the perfect host!

House as described. Great for a get together of friends. Lots of bathrooms, big bedrooms, social space and the garden was perfect to play games in and socialise in. Outdoor seating was great for our sunny weekend and the hot tub was a great surprise! Easy to drive into Oxford for the day. Ruth was always easy to message before the trip. Would recommend!
